Hello again, another week, another batch of work!



At this point the level we've been working on is mostly done, so I'm probably going to switch gears and move on to concept art for the next level once I finish up a few wayward animations that are hanging around on my to do list.

Dev Journal 13

Back Again! This time with boss animations!




As you can probably tell the boss has two main attacks, one where it rolls and slams into the wall (launching spikes in all directions) and another where it "spits" eggs that spawn minions to distract the player.

So far it's coming along well and I can't wait to see this thing implemented in the game.

Dev Journal 12

Holy shit, it's boss time...

This is probably the biggest, most exciting, and coincidentally most time consuming asset I've worked on. However, it is certainly paying off. As of now I only have 2 completed animations with a outline version of another. The thing will eventually have a few a few attacks as well as a TRANSFORMATION which I won't spoil until it's finally completed.

Dev Journal 11

Hello again! I'm back from possibly one of the worst colds I've had in recent memory. I was plagued by everything from congestion, torpidity, to even one bout of vomiting. So, back from the dead and with a voice reminiscent of a chronic smoker, I return with work.

On the upside, now that I'm no longer dying I can move on with my next big project which is making the boss. Just a small doodle to show what to expect:
